Our Story
In July 2018, on a rainy evening in New York City, Morgan was preparing to move to a new apartment and needed help getting rid of her mattress. With most of her friends unavailable, she decided to let Gilles, her friend’s new roommate whom she barely knew, lend a hand. As they maneuvered the mattress, they easily got along, making the annoying task more fun. After they successfully carried the mattress to the street, Gilles suggested they grab a drink together.
In 2021, they moved in together in New York City and welcomed a furry companion, their beloved cat, Jacques, into their home. Now, eight years after their first date, they are filled with excitement to take the next step in their adventure together: getting married!
Little did they know, that simple invitation would mark the beginning of an incredible journey. Gilles & Morgan explored the bustling streets of New York City together, forged a connection that withstood the challenges of long-distance while Morgan pursued her graduate studies in Philadelphia, and traveled around the world together, creating unforgettable memories along the way.
